I bought an older Alumacraft 15x48 with a slight V (about 1.5" in the middle). It has a 40 hp jet on it and I think the foot is a bit low. What is the rule of thumb for these mod V setups? I'm used to a flat bottom that you can just straight edge to middle of the first grate pin.
Thanks.

You're just gonna have to go through the setup process with a jet like every other hull. My experience is you can go a little higher than a straight edge to the front grate pin but that is on a mod-v with no center keel (Grizzly).
