Progress so far looks great - picked up an '83 Lund WS-16 in September and have been going through the same kind of work working through deck rebuild. I'm trying to avoid the kind of hardware rot that you and I are both seeing.

I'm not planning on putting carpet in mine, but that red interior is looking good.

Took it for a spin last weekend, didn't have the seats installed, so I threw a lawn chair in there and took it out. Runs good, got it up to about 30mph and some how dinged up a perfectly good prop.

After that outing, the boat mouse decided to vacate the boat, and is now in my attic.

This weekend;
Installed the seats and bases
Performed black magic on the carbs to improve idling
Put mouse traps in attic
Rewired trailer lights, now LEDs
Bilge and aeration pump work

Future fixes
Lower unit potential leak
Separate fuel and battery for little motor (make fully redundant) or buy seatow policy
New roller to keep keel off trailer
Repaint trailer
Fuel injection conversation for 85hp Mercury using Honda parts and chipped p28!?

Took the family out the other weekend, worked great.

Re-plumbed fuel to have separate fuel shutoffs so I can drain the carb bowls via the engine at the end of the weekend, and reduce the flooded float bowl when I prime one when the other is still tilted up.

Other than that, she's ready for winter. I'll keep posting updates as work continues, but that may be a while away.

Wow, that water looks calm.

Anyway, I trust she loaded up that Barbie reel with some high test braided line!
