CMC BA 130 on Alumacraft 1648

Post by lgpjr49 » 06 Nov 2018, 12:40

Has anyone used a CMC BA 130 on an Alumacraft 1648? The boat is riveted, and I wondered how it will hold up with the transom after the set back. The motor is a Tohatsu 30hp 4 stroke. Any advice, experience or feedback would be appreciated.

should be fine, but rivets don't stay tight forever. Might have to buck one or two of them once in a while.

I had a 2008 Crappie Jon with a jack plate, t@t, 20 hp for several years. That's a riveted boat and never had an issue with rivets.
