Anyone tried these? I'm looking for a better way to support my boat cover.

I made my owner cover support using 3/4 PVC. It works well but the heat is getting to is some and I think before winter I will be replacing the SCH40 with SCH80. In it present condition it does a good job of keeping water and junk out of the boat.

Looks like the one the ones at BP would get expensive fast at $22 a pair. I probably don't have over $30 in mine as it is now. Also appears that the wire supports stay on the boat, I can see them getting in the way.
