Key to a long marriage?

Talk about anything that floats your boat (no pun intended). This is general talk about anything not related to boating/fishing.

Yes dear!

Today is my 25th wedding anniversary. Guess I should take the little women out to dinner, may even supersize the fries for her.

Wow, just hit me. I've been married a quarter of a century. How long is eternity?

You've got the first part right for sure. As for the second part, I think eternity is a lot longer than 25 years. Not having been married for 25 years and not having been through eternity I can't tell you which is longer. Congrats to you and good luck and yes, do supersize, it's your 25th...

By the way, the traditional gift for 25 years is silver. Got yours?

I am not sure about the key to a long marriage but the key to a short marriage would be the key to my truck, the keys to my boats, the keys to the garage (man cave) , etc. etc. etc...

The more a man uses these keys....the shorter the marrage...

Ok, just kidding (honey)... I really do know the answer to the key to a long marriage...that answer would be having the keys to each others hearts.... 8)

Congrats!

I'll be married 6 years this year, doesn't seem like that long though. I believe the key to marriage is finding someone in tune with your own brain, lol. If I ever brought flowers home, she would kill me! But we love going to Cabelas on our anniversary and birthdays(born 1 day apart). We fish together in the spring/summer, then we hunt together in the fall/winter. We got a woodstove 2 years ago, and she loves cutting firewood with me so much, I bought her her own saw last Christmas(husqvarna 55). And you better believe if her car breaks, she fixes it with the help of me showing her what to do if she gets stuck...marriage is great.

Congrats and many more happy years. I have been married for almost 10 years, but damn, 25 years is a long time.
