I've thought of the same thing. Doing some reading, it sounded like the small amount of added juice in a short time drive wouldn't justify messing with your car's electrical system. All sorts of warnings about over-drawing the cars power system told me to leave it alone. My boat is kept about a mile...

Do you own, or consider owning a jump starter?

A number of guys in our little 40 man fishing club bought these things. I can't tell you how many times one or another guy helped another boater get their motors started. Do you own, or consider owning a jump starter?

A long, but well done, video comparison of many Lithium starters. I have an off-brand in each car and my boats, too. Never had to use them yet, though.

With regard to the FF transducer.. some people have had luck "Shooting Through" aluminum hulls. Goop it down in the right place, ...

WTB Humminbird MSM mount (2 of them)

<r>I left my mounts in TN when I returned to Texas. Humminbird 587 and Humminbird 798ci si. I called Humminbird and they told me the mounts that I need are designated MSM. The same mounts will fit the 500/600/798ci si (but not HD) series<br/> <br/> <br/> Anyone have some old units around that they n...

Jack London, his life and.... a lot more.

Jack London has been my favorite author for the better part of 60 years. A quick read of the short story "To Build a Fire" probably turned me on to his many talents. Back when men were men, Jack lived and wrote their stories. LINKed below is an excellent article that summarises his life. Worth the t...
