Re: Raymarine Dragonfly 7 Pro

After adjusting the transducer angle this Raymarine Dragonfly works perfectly for me. The downview shows the bottom at 200 foot depth as well and as clear as at 12 foot depths. The sonar is great too. I'm liking it so far this year.

I personally haven't been out yet.

Welding

Mig welding is easy once you learn how to dial in your machine.
I have an old Snap-On mig welder that I bought new in 1987. I can dial that machine to do amazing welds.

Think this will work out?

I would use a porta power hydraulic ram or friction jack and roughly push the dent out. Then finesse it the rest of the way with a body hammer and dolly block. Harbor Freight sells that stuff at a reasonable price.

Automated docking (you need a really big boat for now)

I can see a need for this if you have a large boat

1962 Mirrocraft

If you use the waterski's from the 60's it is possible. The ski's back then were longer and wider than today's ski's. I could ski using my 16 foot center console Starcraft with a 35 Evinrude back in1979 with no problem using my Dad's old ski's.

TOWING WITH FWD

I once and only once towed my 12 foot Springbok with my 1976 Suzuki 850 motorcycle. Backing down the ramp was not fun.
This is one of many brain dead things I have done.
