Re: 15 ft Sea Nymph

No comparison to that 75! I'm jealous! Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk I've got it scooting 37 with two people and ice chests and gear. Still over rev a bit at WOT. Went up to a 17 pitch stainless, trying to find a 19 pitch stainless or 20 pitch raker prop. Should be well over 40 with either of t...

Re: 15 ft Sea Nymph

I haven't seen one like yours either! Especially not with a 75 hp! And yea I was skeptical. But said screw it. Its only a couple bucks. It was worth the gamble in my book! Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk Mine originally was only a 35 merc. No idea on speed, it used to get on plane and scoot. But ...

Re: 15 ft Sea Nymph

Yea they are! I was a little skeptical of them because they were only like 14 bucks. But they are pretty nice. We shall see how long they last. An no kidding. Where are ya located? I have never seen one like mine. For some reason I don't see too many v hulls in general out on the water. I'm in TX. ...

I think most of the converted jet boats I've seen use a "stick steer" like an air boat.

Re: Sea Nymph Bass Attacker Rebuild

Stainless was actually a 14-17prop. Bumped my top speed to 37 at 5700 ish rpm. Hopefully picking up a 19 pitch stainless this week to go over 40. Then I will hope I am still spinning Max rpm and try to find a raker ss prop and go as fast as possible! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170410/6aa57aa...

Re: Jet john

I'm using a Kawasaki 750 as motor and was wondering if I could attach a waterhose to the intake hose so I could test run at home, also where should I run my exast, out the bottom or out the back? Yes to the hose. Just don't rev it to much. I would run the exhaust out the back. So if it leaks you don'...

Spark plugs made a huge difference. Tach on the way. Also found some cheap props to try. Hopefully will get me up and screaming!

Re: Sea Nymph Bass Attacker Rebuild

Got some more things done. New spark plugs in, old spark plugs were not even correct plugs, and gapped between .050 and .060! Motor running much smoother now. Prop that came on it is a 13 3/4 x 15. Picking up a 19 pitch stainless and a 17 pitch aluminum to see if I can gain more speed. I think they ...

Alright. Got the tach ordered. Going out tomorrow. Will play with the jack plate a bit more. Also going to run some seafoam and change the spark plugs.
